Ingredients

  • Fennel seeds – 1/4 tsp
  • Asaefoetida – a pinch
  • Salt – to taste

Method

  1. Drain and coarsely grind pre-soaked chick peas in a blender without andding any water.
  2. Add chopped onions, corn, grated ginger, red chillies and all the other spices and mix well.
  3. Shape them into small cutlets and line them on a greased baking tray. Place it in the oven for 45 minutes at a temperature of 350 degree celcius.
  4. Serve with a mint dressing.

Salads are good and fulfilling options for low-calorie meals. Full of essential nutrients like choline, phosphorus, vitamin B2, magnesium, calcium, selenium, iron, pantothenic acid, protein, and niacin. Cabbage is also full of fiber, making it a healthy option for dieting.

  • Carrot – 1 (shredded)
  • Green Bell Pepper (capsicum) – 1/2 (sliced thinly)
  • Mung Sprouts – 1 cup
  • Cilantro – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Almonds – 10 (chopped)
  • For Dressing
  • Orange Juice – 1/2 cup
  • Ginger juice – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1/4 tsp
  • Sugar/ Honey – 1 tbsp
  • Black Pepper Powder – 1/8 tsp

Method

  1. Mix all the vegetables in a bowl chopped in similar size.
  2. Whisk together all the ingredients for dressing.
  3. Mix the dressing with the chopped vegetables.
